Research

My research activity is focused to Internet of Things, Edge Computing, Digital Twins and Pervasive Computing. In particular a specific focus has is dedicated to the design of distributed architecture to efficiently and seamlessly connect people and things (e.g., sensors, vehicles, actuators) in heterogenous application scenarios. Furthermore I work and investigate new form of interaction interaction between personal devices (e.g., smartphones and wearables) with heterogenous Smart Objects in pervasive environment. Current areas of interest include:

  • Internet of Things
  • Edge Computing
  • Distributed Systems
  • Digital Twins
  • Mobile Computing
  • Pervasive Computing
